Candidates from LIC Agents and LIC Employee Categories will have a single-phase Main Examination. This objective test will be conducted online for 160 marks over two hours.

Interview:
The marks obtained in the main examination will determine who gets shortlisted for the interview. The final merit list will be based on both the main exam and interview scores.
- LIC of India will set eligibility standards and minimum marks for the interview based on the number of vacancies. The interview is worth 40 marks.
- In case of a tie in scores, candidates will be ranked based on their main exam and interview scores, post-graduate qualifications, and age (older candidates will rank higher).
- There will be no waiting list for candidates who do not pass the main exam.
